Baltimore County detective, Jonathan Chih, was shot multiple times with a rifle on February 9 by 24 year old David Linthicum. Linthicum was eventually apprehended in Fallston, MD and arrested for attempted murder and stealing a patrol car. Detective Chih sustained gunshot wounds to his upper torso and extremities and was put on life support. He will now require physical therapy and reconstructive surgery. He was discharged this past Sunday.
