Valerie McDonough lays out her campaign pledges as a candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in the sixth legislative district. Valerie’s campaign slogan is “Put People and Community First” and as a life-long resident of Baltimore County, community has always been forefront of all her efforts.
The Dundalk Eagle stated in a recent article "If elected, McDonough wants to introduce legislation in regard to three things. First, she will propose the creation of an education advocate’s office to “protect and defend parents and students against the education establishment,” she said in her bio, and “force education boards and departments to be transparent, responsive and honest.” Given the recent nationwide focus on critical race theory taught in the schools, McDonough is well positioned to tackle this issue.
Listen to her speech, truly inspirational. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9EwWAQtwAo
