Republican Women of Baltimore County Stand with Texas Flood Survivors

Cockeysville, Maryland - The Republican Women of Baltimore County (RWBC) are proud to announce a heartfelt donation to Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian nonprofit organization that provides emergency relief and long-term recovery assistance to individuals and communities affected by natural disasters.

Samaritan’s Purse has long been known for its boots-on-the-ground approach—delivering food, shelter, medical supplies, and spiritual support to those most in need. Guided by their mission “to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need and proclaiming the hope of the Gospel,” they bring both practical aid and the light of faith to devastated areas around the globe.

Due to the extraordinary generosity being shown nationwide, the donation portal for Samaritan’s Purse has been overwhelmed. RWBC Treasurer Beth Stone has diligently attempted to process the club’s contribution over the past two days, encountering technical delays caused by the influx of donations from across the country. American’s are so generous and this “glitch” is a testament to the strong support Samaritan’s Purse receives in a time of crisis.

In a beautiful show of generosity, one of RWBC’s own members matched the club’s donation, effectively doubling the amount being sent to support the vital work of Samaritan’s Purse. This act of kindness reflects the core values of our membership—faith, service, and a deep commitment to those in need.
