Patriotic July 4th Towson Parade to Remember!

What an incredible way to continue celebrating America's 250th Birthday!

The Republican Women of Baltimore County were proud to participate in the Towson Independence Day Parade, bringing America's founding history to life for thousands of spectators. Our beautifully decorated truck, patriotic music, and cast of America's Founding Fathers and Mothers created one of the most memorable entries in this year's celebration.

A special thank you to our outstanding volunteers who truly embraced the spirit of the day.

Americanism Chair Jean Hessenauer portrayed Thomas Jefferson with enthusiasm and pride. George Rew expertly chauffeured our parade entry, while Susan Hyde delighted the crowd as Betsy Ross. Cindy and Allen Swim brought history to life as Martha and George Washington, creating wonderful photo opportunities all along the parade route.

Behind every successful event is a dedicated team. Thank you to Linda Eminizer for helping make it all come together, Sophia Montgomery for adding the perfect decorative touches, and Tabu Winslow Morris and Elizabeth Moylan for proudly carrying our beautiful new 60 Years of Community Service banner. You represented our club with grace and confidence.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to Barbara Miller, my fellow cheerleader for all things Republican Women. Your enthusiasm is contagious, and your support is always appreciated.

We were also honored to march alongside our outstanding Team 42 candidates: Nino Mangione for Baltimore County Council District 5, Pat Dyer for Baltimore County Executive, Kevin Ford for State Senate, and Jeff McDonald for Delegate, District 42B. Chuck Murphy, candidate for Delegate in District 42A, you were certainly missed! Together, this team represents strong leadership and a bright future for Baltimore County.

Special thanks also go to Kelley Rogers for her support and to Todd Huff for generously providing the truck that helped make our parade entry such a success.

The response from the crowd was tremendous. Smiles, waves, applause, and countless patriotic cheers reminded us that love of country continues to unite our community.

For a few wonderful hours on Independence Day, we celebrated not only 250 years of American freedom, but also the values that continue to define our nation—faith, family, liberty, and community. It was a day filled with pride, patriotism, and the unmistakable spirit of America.
