Merits of Capitalist Health Care with Oversight of Good Government in the United States of America

By Heather Elizabeth Pielke

As an advocate of capitalism with good government, the practices of well governed capitalist health care is the best health care of contemporary and earlier traditional times throughout history in the United States of America. Some critiques in recent news publications have falsely said that capitalist health care is corrupt. If a capitalist health care entity or organization behaves in a way that is unethical, that unethical behavior is a crime. It is not capitalism that is wrong. Simply put, crime is wrong.

Socialized health care is wrong for the following reason, as quoted from an article published October 3, 2018, by the National Institute of Health (NIH): “the centralization of control of HealthCare Services (socialized medicine), which is the most important part of establishing communism or socialist control over the people. When you control their health care, you control their lives. Once the state gains control of everyone's health care, they control all the people”. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6187962/

To clarify the terms, capitalism, socialism, communism, and Marxism for the purposes of this article, each other these words is defined below for your reference with directly quoted definitions from dictionary.com:

Capitalism: “An economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, especially as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.” https://www.dictionary.com/browse/capitalism

Socialism: “A theory or system of social organization that advocates the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, capital, land, etc., by the community as a whole, usually through a centralized government.” https://www.dictionary.com/browse/socialism

Communism: “A theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.” https://www.dictionary.com/browse/communism

Marxism: “The system of economic and political thought developed by Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, especially the doctrine that the state throughout history has been a device for the exploitation of the masses by a dominant class, that class struggle has been the main agency of historical change, and that the capitalist system, containing from the first the seeds of its own decay, will inevitably, after the period of the dictatorship of the proletariat, be superseded by a socialist order and a classless society.” https://www.dictionary.com/browse/marxism

Karl Marx believed, that is a philosophy dangerous to human rights in health care: The quote, as originally written by Karl Marx in advocation of what he wrongfully considered progress: “People [were] no longer [believing] that ancestry or religion determined their status in life. Everyone was the same as everyone else.” February 24, 1848 New Yorker https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2016/10/10/karl-marx-yesterday-and-today

This opinion of Karl Marx written by Karl Marx in his own words is directly against any human being’s right to make health decisions according to their cultural or religious beliefs, or, even the belief that every human being is unique, with a unique ability to think for oneself and to have the right to make his or her own individual decision:

There are only two types of valid legal health care in this country: (1) Capitalist private pay health care and capitalist private pay health care with capitalist privately paid health insurance provider, (2) Capitalist government charity health care to the extent that government can afford can truly pay the expenses for health care for individuals who truly need it.

I stand for the statement of the French philosopher, Descartes “I think therefore I am.” As a civilian patriot and naturalized citizen of the United States of America, I am a defender of individual civil liberties. Each person’s rights are to be protected, to protect everyone's ability to think. Capitalist health care with good government protects each individual’s ability control their health care decisions, which is a right that should never be taken from any human being in the United States of America.
