RWBC is pleased to announce Joanne Seward as the new Literacy Committee Chairwoman. The Literacy Committee was previously chaired by Sarah Burton, who is now our Fundraising Chair.
Joanne is a lifelong resident of the Baltimore area, attending Towson State University where she graduated with a B.S. in Education. She put this degree to use immediately, teaching at public, private, and parochial schools in Baltimore County. She currently runs her own business, One on One Tutoring, assisting elementary school children.
Joanne is no stranger to volunteering as she campaigned for Ellen Sauerbrey for MD Governor, helped at Pregnancy Center North, a pro-life clinic, and read to students at Maryland School for the Blind.
Joanne plans to steer the committee in a new direction, so be on the lookout!
