Republican Women of Baltimore County Raise Funds to Support Angel Flight East

Baltimore County, MD — The Republican Women of Baltimore County (RWBC) Caring for America Committee proudly selected Angel Flight East (AFE) as the beneficiary of its fall fundraiser, supporting the organization’s mission to provide free air transportation for individuals in need of critical medical care.

Headquartered in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, Angel Flight East coordinates “flights of compassion” that serve patients across 14 states in the Northeastern United States, connecting those in medical need with volunteer pilots who donate their time, aircraft, and fuel to make access to distant healthcare possible.

RWBC was honored to host Ellen Williams, Executive Director of Angel Flight East, and Derward Brooks, one of AFE’s volunteer pilots, as guest speakers at the club’s September meeting. Both shared inspiring stories about the organization’s impact and the dedication of its pilots and supporters.

A substantial contribution was donated by the Republican Women of Baltimore County to further Angel Flight East’s mission. The club continues to promote the organization through online giving and social media outreach, encouraging others to support this life-changing cause.
