Group Questions Safety of Transgender Bathroom Rules
Judy Deese is the founder of the the Parent Alliance for Safer Schools in Baltimore County. This newly formed group is the first of its kind in Maryland. Ms. Deese, along with several members of her church organized a peaceful protest to speak out about the issue of transgender use of bathrooms in Baltimore County Schools. At issue is the lack of safety protocols for the students.
Opposition groups representing the other point of view heard the news of the Parent Alliance for Safer Schools peaceful protest. The opposition groups also attended the peaceful protest. To insure everyone’s safety, the Baltimore County police arranged for protestors to be separated by a large parking lot.
