House Bill 283 Maryland Medical Assistance Program – Gender–Affirming Treatment (Trans Health Equity Act)
The Republican Women of Baltimore County OPPOSE House Bill 283.
Didn’t the Democrat Lawmakers just introduce House Bill 1180 preventing anyone 25 and under from being charged with felony murder because “a person’s frontal lobes are not fully developed until the age of 25?” Yet, these same legislators believe a child (any age) can decide to have “gender-affirming” treatment. In other words, by this thought process an 11-year-old is perfectly capable of making a lifelong decision to permanently mutilate their bodies yet not capable of being responsible for committing murder until age 26.
What does “Gender-Affirming Treatment” mean, what are Maryland citizens being asked to pay for?
“HORMONE THERAPY, HORMONE BLOCKERS, AND PUBERTY BLOCKERS; HAIR ALTERATION FOR THE PURPOSES OF ALTERING SECONDARY SEX CHARACTERISTICS AND SURGICAL SITE PREPARATION; ALTERATIONS TO VOICE, VOICE THERAPY, AND VOICE LESSONS; ALTERATIONS TO ABDOMEN, CHEST, TRUNK, AND BUTTOCKS; ALTERATIONS TO THE FACE AND NECK; ALTERATIONS TO THE GENITALS AND GONADS AND LASER TREATMENT FOR SCARS FROM GENDER–AFFIRMING TREATMENT”
Translated, this means the permanent surgical removal of innocent children’s breast, genitals and gonads. This is inhumane, cruel, and pure evil, these procedures are not reversible. This is a permanent, lifelong decision that our esteemed legislators believe is perfectly fine for children whose brains are not fully developed.
This is child abuse; the State of Maryland will be held liable for long term damages.
This law is predatory and discriminatory as it preys on the poor (Medicaid Recipients only).
This is not only very dangerous to a child’s health, but long-term health and well-being. There are ZERO studies of long-term efficacy of sex change, hormone therapy, hormone blockers, surgeries, voice alternations, breast, genital and gonad removal.
These surgical victims will never be able to conceive offspring. This is cruel and unusual punishment for a mental condition, these innocent children should be treated without drugs and surgery. They should be treated with care and compassion.
According to the documentary, “What is a Woman?”, each gender affirming candidate will spend approximately $1,000,000 in surgeries, medications and doctor visits. Is this what Marylander’s want to pay for?
Withdraw this bill immediately to protect innocent children.
