As our nation reels from the atrocities of child sex trafficking revealed by the movie Sound of Freedom, RWBC has secured an expert speaker for the Saturday September 16 meeting. The United States is the number one consumer of child sex trafficking according to the movie directors for Sound of Freedom. Rolling Stone magazine’s article about the movie quoted these statistics:
“Reliable statistics are hard to come by due to the under reported nature of the phenomenon, but the U.S. State Department has reported that 600,000 to 800,000 people are trafficked across international borders per year, with about 50 percent of these cases being children.” https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-news/sound-of-freedom-child-trafficking-experts-1234786352/
Speaker Clare Lopez is Founder/President of Lopez Liberty LLC, with a mission to alert Americans to national security threats, both internationally and internally. She supports former Acting ICE Director Tom Homan and Tom Trento with their awareness efforts at www.Defendtheboarder.org. Ms. Lopez will not only expose on September 16 the seriousness of child sex trafficking in USA but what we can do to stop this evil in our nation.
In preparation for Ms. Lopez speech on September 16, RWBC is hosting a Dinner and a Movie on August 29 featuring Tom Homan’s recent documentary “Death County & The River of Broken Dreams.”
