Republican Women of Baltimore County Wins National Recognition – Diamond Award

The Republican Women of Baltimore County (RWBC) achieved a remarkable honor as they were awarded the prestigious Diamond Award by the National Federation of Republican Women. This distinguished accolade is presented biennially and underscores the club's outstanding accomplishments for the period spanning 2022 to 2023, encompassing diverse categories such as community involvement, support for Republican candidates, fundraising initiatives under the Caring for America banner, and active participation in legislative matters.


The Diamond Award stands as the most esteemed recognition attainable within the National Federation of Republican Women, signifying the pinnacle of achievement within the organization.


Baltimore County's Republican Women's Club not only boasts the status of being one of the largest such organizations in the state, but it is also renowned for its unmatched level of activity and engagement. The club's digital presence, including its website and social media channels, stands as the most vibrant and active in the region. In addition, the club maintains a robust meeting schedule, facilitating discourse and engagement on critical matters.


Furthermore, the Republican Women of Baltimore County have garnered acclaim for their diligent efforts in advocating for the removal of pornography from school libraries, exemplifying their dedication to maintaining a wholesome educational environment. Simultaneously, the club has been at the forefront of the election integrity movement, advocating for transparency and accountability, while also actively recognizing and supporting local non-profit organizations committed to aiding those in need.


The presentation of this esteemed award took place at the national convention in Kansas City, Missouri, in September 2023. The honor was graciously accepted on behalf of the local group by Linda Stine Flint, Vice President of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women, underscoring the club's standing at the regional and national levels.

Moreover, Linda Stine Flint had the privilege of presenting the award to RWBC attendees during the Maryland Federation of Republican Women Fall Convention on October 15, 2023. RWBC President Jolie McShane expressed her appreciation, stating, "This award reflects the collective dedication of every member of RWBC who have positively impacted our county and state. We are deeply honored to accept this accolade, and it motivates us to continue our commitment to our community and our principles."
